KUBI is a public river-data viewer. It does not ask you to sign in and does not collect personal information to run. The river measurements shown are public data from ARSO and are not about you.

When you pin a river to “my rivers”, that list is saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. It never leaves your browser and is not sent to any server. Clearing your browser data removes it.

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are visited and roughly how the site performs. This is used in aggregate to improve KUBI and is not used to identify individuals.

KUBI may display ads provided by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure performance. You can learn about and control how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and manage ad personalization in your Google account settings. Where required, ads are shown in a non-personalized form until consent is given.

River and sea measurements come from ARSO. Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap/CARTO (or MapTiler). These providers have their own privacy practices.
