Privacy

REKE.SI is a public river-data viewer. It does not ask you to sign in and does not collect personal information to run. It shows no ads. The river measurements shown are public data from ARSO and are not about you.

When you pin a river to “my rivers”, that list is saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. It never leaves your browser and is not sent to any server. Clearing your browser data removes it.

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are visited and roughly how the site performs. This is used in aggregate to improve REKE.SI and is not used to identify individuals.

River and sea measurements come from ARSO. Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap/CARTO (or MapTiler). These providers have their own privacy practices.
